Connect to IP    
This service allows you to connect to an IP based video conference system. To get the best picture and audio quality over IP we recommend a minimum upload connection speed of 512Kbps for standard definition video conferencing and a minimum of 1Mbps upload speed for high definition video conferencing. We liase with your ISP to connect your Video conference system to Janet across your WAN.
Connect to ISDN    
This service allows any ISDN based video conference system to connect to you at 384Kbps This service is required if you want to video conference in standard definition over ISDN. This service is provided free of charge through the JANET network
HD Codec & Camera    
HD Codec and cameras give the best motion and resolution on a large format displays (up to 50 inches). All our featured HD codecs and cameras will give you true 30fps high definition at 720p resolution. There are two standards of HD quality: 720p and 1080p. 720p is great for face to face meetings where clarity and motion are important, while 1080p is best for complex graphical applications like medical procedures and manufacturing applications where exceptional detail and perfect motion are crucial.
HR Codec & Camera    
HR Codec and cameras give great motion and resolution on a large format displays (up to 50 inches). All featured HR codecs and cameras will give you 4CIF high resolution. When compared to standard definition 4CIF gives you four times better resolution at 25fps. The HR codec and camera are great for face to face meetings where up to 5 people are in the room.
Multi-Point Service – External Bridge    
This service allows you to connect you plus three other sites in a single call with no extra charge. Commonly known as bridging this multipoint video conference service also allows you to mix ISDN & IP calls in a single conference. So if your customer or supplier is on an ISDN based system, dont worry you can accommodate them too. The external element to this service simply means JANET will host the call on their video bridge so that you dont have to worry about having bandwidth or connectivity issues every time you want to host a multipoint call, furthermore there is no need for you to install ISDN lines.
Computer Desktop / Data Sharing    
Data share allows the user to share desktop applications like power point, excel, word etc with conference participants. Commonly known as data sharing, this is an important tool for anyone wanting to illustrate a point. Users simply connect their pc to the video conference system and press a button to share data
3 Year Support & Warranty    
All our video conferencing solutions ship with a minimum of 3 years next day on site warranty. That gives you a new pre-configured video conferencing codec or camera delivered and installed if a fault cannot be identified or fixed for the full 3 year warranty period.
System Installation & Configuration    
Every video conference solution is installed and configured onsite by our certified and qualified engineers. There are many settings which can be tailored to meet the needs of your organisation; for example some people prefer an incoming call to be auto answered, while others prefer auto answer with mute on. Whatever the preference we have a check list to ensure you have the opportunity to choose how you want your video conference solution to be set up.
Next Day On Site Warranty    
Nobody wants to worry about the technology we all just want it to work. While we do offer three years cover on all our video conference solutions, That cover includes a guaranteed next day on site repair or replacement service which is also backed by the manufacturer. So if for any reason you call our help desk you can start the clock for next day resolution
Telephone & Video Support    
Sometimes somebody pushes a button and nothing happens, or maybe a new user stands in front of the video conference system wondering what to do, Or maybe something is not doing what you think it should. Whatever the need, we have a technical & user experience team waiting for your call. You can call any of the team and you’re guaranteed a warm reception and the help and advice you need. We are very enthusiastic about video conferencing and welcome calls from first time users and veterans alike. We have a number of video dial in test numbers that you can use or simply phone us for us to call you over video.
On Site Training    
We include two levels of training with all systems that we install namely; user training and administrator training. Training is done onsite at a time to suite you and if anybody misses the training simply call and book another onsite training session or opt for a remote training session. We actively promote and encourage the wide use of video conferencing and we acknowledge that most people who install our solutions have people with video conference systems that they want to communicate with. we always recommend that our new customers send out an email to their customers and suppliers to tell about the new video conference system and more importantly find out who else in your contacts you can start video conferencing with

Software & Firmware Upgrades    
From time to time the manufacturer will issue software and firmware updates. Some updates improve functionality while others give new functionality. Whatever the updates we will notify you and install your new updates remotely either out of hours or at a convenient time to suite. Not all updates will give noticeable change however we will make extra effort to give you more details about the ones that do.
